Hantsweb - search for "nature reserve" and you will find some excellent pages describing places like Titchfield Haven, Martin Down and Keyhaven Marshes.
The first covers the well known sites, the second describes six sites in the New Forest in great detail and the third is the most comprehensive and up to date county avifauna.
The Recording section of this website includes a Gazetteer, the OS references are hyperlinks to maps of the areas.
The sites listed below were the subjects of a series in the Kingfisher, the HOS Newsletter, beginning in Winter 1993. Not all the authors have been approached for permission to reproduce their work here, if you are one such please contact the Webmaster. Some of the site descriptions may be a little out of date, so if you wish to update a description, or add a new one, please contact the webmaster.
